Dessa - A Badly Broken Code (2010)

love Dess. Despite the frequent changes of locks, a representative Doomtree never had any problems with finding the key to my heart. Although, on reflection - it illustrates the comparison is not quite a relationship between us. Dessa does not fit and does not try to fit in my tastes. Doing music in their own way and really hard to compare her work to any other artist or artist. It was captured on tape bullshit conventions become the foundation of the first full-length album singer. It is that originality meant that "A Badly Broken Code," which is undoubtedly a difficult album - convinced me to myself after the first hearing.

"A Badly Broken Code" is a 47-minute mix of rapping and singing. Dessa MAXimum made life a nap in her potential. Finesse moves from rap to singing, and vice versa, and most importantly - do not disturb it without a bit of consistency project. Her singing is an attribute that makes publishing so pleasant to read. It is a fantastic singer with a subtle and delicate timbre.

Background music, giving the album previously mentioned, the original tone was almost entirely produced in the hands of her fellow Doomtree . I read an interview with Dess, which said it did not wyobrażałaby a different scenario - współczłonkowie Doomtree are for her like a second family, and no one else he could so well understand her vision sleepers. The production is truly unusual and spectacular. Feel that each piece was made according to the plan outlined earlier. Plan to create a climate that matches the emotions and the content transmitted by Dess.

Yeah ... emotions. The album is full of them. They can already hear and feel through the same production. When we add to it and writes really cool, poetic lyrics Dessa -, able to make beats and create a very moody, affecting the whole student - end up sitting on the windowsill with a pipe in the snout and the nostalgic, melancholic mood. Okay - I'm quitting. But this is not my fault in total. This album is just so sad places while inspiring and challenging the listener's focus and commitment, it's hard not to catch the mood in which the tracks are maintained.

"A Badly Broken Code" has a lot more than I expect from a given today's times of hip-hop album. Robust rapping, phenomenal R & B elements, unique and bold production, which draws heavily on the trip-hop, and all of this charismatic and yet delicate and feminine Dess.
